Use of biochar to reduce ammonia and GHG emissions from pigs livestock

The goal of the plan is to reduce the Greenhouse Gases (GHG) and ammonia emissions released by pig slurry tanks. The project also aims to validate the biochar efficiency in reducing odor emissions, to validate the application of biochar in pig slurry tanks, to validate the agronomic performance of
biochar / slurry mixtures, as well as to evaluate the environmental and economic benefits of biochar
negative emissions and carbon increasing in the soil.
