Livestock manure and digestates treatment to reduce emissions and produce Struvite
Obiettivi
Objectives
The objective of the Plan is to decrease the nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and dry matter (ST) content
in livestock manure and digestates in order to reduce ammonia, methane and nitrous oxide emissions into the atmosphere, both from the storage phase and from the spreading. The nitrogen recovered from the effluents will produce a slow-release renewable recovery fertilizer (Struvite) which will be able to replace synthetic fertilizers in areas characterized by nutrient deficiencies due to a reduced livestock presence
