Objectives

1. Optimal monitoring system for nutrient balance
2. Decision support system according to the quality of reclaimed water
3. Continuous analysis system
4. Mathematical model of the water flow and nutrient requirements of crops under observation
5. Evaluation software for control water quantity and nutrient concentration
6. Water supply system based on resource efficiency
7. Reduction of areas affected by CoDiRO
8. Exportability of the system to other situations.

Activities

The activities foreseen by the project are:
• definition of the conceptual scheme and identification of the pilot fields;
• installation of data acquisition systems for water quality monitoring;
• study of the phenomena of transport of nutrients and verification of water-soil-plant interactions;
• implementation of a software for the management of fertilization;
• system testing;
• experimentation in pilot fields;
• validation of the results;
• verification of the sustainability and transferability of the results;
