SLEGAMI - innovative and sustainable solutions to improve animal welfare in fixed stables area of Parmigiano Reggiano
The project aims to find innovative and sustainable solutions (environmental and economic) to
improve animal welfare for tied-up barn. The ultimate goal is to obtain a PDO value chain with
additional quality feature, capable to meet consumer demand for ethical and sustainable food products. The project will focus on animal welfare as key sustainable and ethics feature.
