Arboriculture of the Third Millennium for the Restart of the Capitanata area
a) define the design and management adaptations that very high density orchards require in the main
pedoclimatic areas of the territories of the Apulia Region;
b) realize dissemination tools for industry players that combine the collection, critical reprocessing and synthesis of simple information, experiences and experiments carried out locally, in the project, and/or worldwide on the AS;
c) establish a solid and widespread competence in the territory by farmers and agronomists concerning the design and management in AS.
- Construction of super-intensive tree plants for demonstration and evaluation purposes;
- observation and collection of data in super-intensive tree plants on planting techniques and costs,
vegetative-productive behavior of cultivars in breeding and in production, quantitative and qualitative
parameters of production and costs and effects of the execution of cultivation operations with different
methods
- data processing, interpretation and evaluation;
- drafting of technical material for the construction and management of tree plants;
- disclosure of the demonstration fields and the technical material produced.
