TECHNICAL-ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS OF THE ENTERPRISES MAKING UP THE PIG SECTOR HEMILIAROMAGNA

Pig farms and pig slaughtering, processing and distribution enterprises Emilia-Romagna participate in several national pig production chains. Among these, the chain of PDO products is predominant and guiding the strategy of most operators. The general objective of the GO is to develop innovative tools to analyse and monitor in a timely manner the profitability of the different types of companies that vertically make up the pig supply chains of EŵiliaRomagna and to develop an innovative management assistance (benchmarking) tool for companies Pigs oriented to the calculation of the production cost.
